Well it depends on what you're talking about. Did you put hypoid gear oil in your engine? Did you fill it through the dipstick tube? That would be terrible....

Won't get much power or rpm out of a xv1600 regardless of what you do. Heads are TERRIBLE for making real power and no place for aftermarket cams/lifters/pushrods...

Did it leak? I would maybe try two copper crush washers and put it in reasonable and see if you get a leak. Not a fun/easy fix at all
