Amazon has good deals on battery's usually. Get one with lots of cranking amps. I recommend a gel type (AGM) battery as opposed to old school acid types....Leave a comment:

Mine's just under 60K miles. All it's required is replacement of the clutch diaphragm spring and a new ignition switch. It runs great. I would ride it...Leave a comment:

If you do nothing and add the big air kit it will still run, just maybe not as good as it could. It might run just fine, too. The only way it could hurt...Leave a comment:

+1 on the EBC spring. Mine started slipping at 55K miles. Replaced the stock spring with an EBC and it cured it.
