Greetings, New member.
When shifting, I get a clutch chirp" and also when decelerating. I've made a few minor adjustments both more and less travel, even starting over from a completely loose clutch. On older HD's, we always soak* the fiber disks in trans fluid" and then wipe down before installing, to prevent that dry" clutch chirp. could it be nothing more than dry disks? also.. ( I know I need to get a manual, or DL one. is the clutch wet" as in circulated oil from the motor? ( previous Owner said he used 20-60 ) It is a name brand high ZDDP oil. but I personally think its too thick and will go back to a Mobil V 20-50 ( I have always used nothing but Valvoline VR1 50 straight weight racing oil in my HD's.
