Someone tried to steal my ride

I've been reading these forums for awhile ND recently decided to join, I need help, my 07 midnight* has beco.e an electrical mystery, someone attempted to steal it drilling out my ignition and messing up the wiring. I have since replace the following, ignition. Switch, starter, starter selenoid, accel coil packs, wires ,boots, spark plugs, battery, Stator, oh and ofcourse the one way starter clutch bearing, more then once. Also spun the drive shaft coming down the mountain and had to weld the gear.
I press the start button, I get one click, and battery draws really low, I jump across the selenoid, it spins the motor, but no spark. Lights works, neutral light is on, starter fluid, still no spark, and shouldn't I be hearing my fuel pump tic? Any help would be really appreciated , it's getting nice out and I just wanna ride.

Might be a good idea to tear apart the wire loom where they drilled and look for chewed up wires

Did you change the starter solenoid with a stock replacement from Yamaha? throwing too many parts at it at the same time can lead to more issues cause you don't know what made a difference.

Yea thx guys, wasn't sure what type of response I would get, what I'm attempting to do is bypass the starter relay, not starter selenoid, I jumper the selenoid but the cdi isn't getting the ok so down w the bs. I'm the proud owner of a 07 xv1700 midnight, the only schematics I have seem to either be for the 1600,

I think the schematic for the 1600 and 1700 are the same up to the '08+ fuel injected models. Folks with the 1600 have used the '04-07 CDI for the increased rev limiter. So I think if you have that it will be helpful.

I didn't know what to actually think, are you the actual owner or maybe someone trying to get a bike going and needs to know what needs to be bypassed? I hope you get it sorted out.
