Schwarf and helicoil in bottom oil bung area.

Hi. I recently changed oil and set bottom tank oil bung snug but it never took up and kept going. So helicoil,, i drilled it with grease in drill bit to catch schwarf then tapped same with grease in tap feel i got most of it. Broke end off helicoil with grease in tool and it did not come out. Fished in again with helicoil tool and found a small amount of schwarf not tab of end from helicoil.

Does anyone see me having any trouble with this inside plus minor amount of schwarf. Have not put oil back in yet. Perhaps flush with 1 liter of oil and 1 can seafoam seafoam in top tank start and allow to go to bottom and redrain?

Any ideas welcome.

I think just a quick flush and maybe a magnet and you should be good. I would flush with something with thin viscosity

No.no oil filings the case never.

I have closed it and ridden around 100km. Does anyone think i need to redrain and replace oil and filter or just keep going.

That's a question you should answer. Change the oil if you think you should, it will ease your mind and remove any doubts, but I think you'll be ok with running it for 1000 miles.
