No Power

I have a 2003 yamaha roadstar. Hope someone can assist. The other day went to start the bike turned the key and I getting nothing. No display no lights nothing. I checked the fuses all the fueses were good. I took the control module switch of. No loose or frayed wires. After after a couples hrs I tured the key and I got power. When I hit the ignition switch it died again. How can I tell if the switch is bad or what else could cause me to loose all power. I took some pics. also just in the last 3 days when i turn the key 99 percent of the time i get nothing. hope someone can help

Did you check your battery voltage under load when trying to start?

I did test the battery getting 12.6 reading. At this point now i am getting no power at all.

Sounds like what happens when your battery is bad. Check the voltage then hit the start switch and check the voltage at the same time and you will probably see it drop to 8 or 10 volts.

Sounds like it could be a bad ground.

I agree. Check your connections starting at the battery.

I will. Just in case are there other fuses I can check. I know if I get power the fuses are good but for the last couple of days Iam getting nothing

There is a 30 amp main fuse under the right side cover. There should be a spare 30 amp fuse in the slot next to it. When the main fuse blows you get absolutely nothing. no lights , no dash no start, nothing at all
