Not so little oil leak.

I can't figure out where it's leaking oil from. The entire bottom side of the bike is wet. Nothing above the shift linkage level of the bike is wet. Any ideas where she might be leaking from?

Clean all the oil off, let it run and pay close attention to see where it's coming from, could be punctured or loose oil filter, overfilled with oil, you tell us where you see it coming from, the we can guess better.

If it were me, I'd take and clean it off the best you can. See if that helps identify where the oil is coming from. Has any work been done to it recently?

Outside of some of the obvious, oil filter, or oil drain plugs these aren't prone to oil leaks. Over filling with oil will usually cause oil from further up due to crankcase vents. I think a few members have had an oil leak from the front drive pulley. Again, cleaning things up and see where fresh oil reappears will be key.

if you just changed the oil what brand oil filter did you use? If you didn't just change the oil follow the chrome oil lines and check the connections where they go into the engine under the bike. that connection has orings on it to seal and they can go bad and leak.

Is this oil? I filled it with Bellray exs 4 qts a few days ago. Or is it oil mixed with somthing? I cleaned the bottom of the bike and it's coming from this area for sure. That is after only 5 minute ride.

Let run without driving so it don't blow back, Jeeze, Now clean it again and start over.

Check the area around the orings I mentioned. Where those lines go into the bottom of the engine

Don't just wipe it down with a rag. You want it as oil free as possible. Get a couple of cans of carburetor cleaner and blast the engine sides and everywhere underneath (engine, frame, hoses etc). Then, do not run the engine until everything is bone dry. While the engine is running, keep checking everywhere around the engine until you see any signs of oil.

Stator recently been replaced? If coming from that oil line only reason for it to be removed if stator was bad and cover needed to be removed. Gasket is a pain to remove at that spot.

Remove the right side cover. Make sure it too is dry under there. I had a leak once at the upper oil pipe about 12 years ago.

Are you the same Scotto from years ago on the old clinic? I think your bike was the first one I seen with those bags on it and loved the look. I just never found a set for a good price so I went with HD bags.
