AIS Delete

I'm removing the AIS system and have read that some folks are using 45 ACP casings to plug the holes in the cylinder heads. I'd like to hear some pros/cons to using these casings vs using the pacific coast star plugs or similar. I don't know what pressures these plugs will be under and if they 45 casings will be more prone to failing.

I'm sure this has been discussed already but I can't find anything, please redirect me if you know where this has been covered.

The 45 casings work on the "99 to 03" Road Stars only. I have never heard of any failures using the 45 casings.
The 1700s use a plate to cap off the AIS.

They work fine. Put them in the freezer overnight before you put them in tap them in firmly good to go
