Stuck saddlebag lock

Hey guys I somehow just locked my self out of my saddlebags.. Has anyone had trouble with the stock Silverado bag locks? I stuck the key in and it turned to lock but now I can’t get it to unlocked, I’ve tried pushing down on the lid and put a load of PB blaster in the key hole. This is the first time I’ve tried to use the locks since I recently purchased the bike. Do these look like the right keys?

Well.. that’s most likely the issue.. The guy I got the bike from said he thought they were for the saddle bags. That’s just my luck the keys locked it but won’t unlock it.

Ride it to a good locksmith and they will open it and make you a new key.

I managed to get the locking mechanisms out and use a flat tip to get in there and twist the lock open.

Those are Mutazu RS bags with those keys stock looking knockoffs, You can get replacement lock on their website.

Pretty sure the bags are OEM or atleast those are definitely not the right keys I have no clue what they go to but I must’ve been holding my mouth just right to get it to lock because after that I couldnt get the key to do anything. After I knew I could get it open I tried locking it again and couldn’t get it to work on either side.

if the key turns 90 degrees, but the release wont open, the release is wore, very common. if u can depress the button, keep trying until it opens, and then replace it immediately. remove it and duct tape it shut until the ebay lockss arrive, theyre all the same locks with the same key number anyway. the handle part is reused. replace both, im told the mutazu locks are too long. check the recent FB RSC saddlebags 101

The keys that came with my’08 for the bags look identical to the ignition key. That triangular shape key.
