I have added sea foam to my gas tank a few times and i think it has helped my bike, but has anyone added to the oil, or should you not?

When I first buy a bike I usually add about four or 5 oz of seafoam to the engine oil and then run it hard for 20 minutes and then change it. Let it drain for a long time.

you might find this interesting: https://youtu.be/chsGBhB5g7o

in the tank I add stabil sometimes.

in the crank seafoam seems to get a lot of dirt out, I add it about 100 miles before chamging oil.

seafoam in the tank- not for me.

The most important thing is regular oil & filter changes that meets our flat tappet requirements on schedule, then good gas of the regular blend, a few capfuls of any gas treatment every other tank won't do any harm if you're so inclined.

What you got here is a conglomeration of Seafoam Fanatics! ( I'm one of them) On the old RSC site, there was a thread at least 100 entries long extolling the virtues of Seafoam, real and imagined. Maybe someone smarter than I can drag it up here, if that's even possible. I understand a lot of that shit that was supposedly archived, wasn't, and what was is missing most of the pics. Some funny and imaginative shit on that thread. I'm sure some of the long time members remember it.

The 04 & 05 are more susceptible to SVS and can benefit from a regular regiment of carbon deposit cleaners like Ring Free.
