Oh, good, Jaybo is a little cone shaped too so there should be no problem.

The inside of the collar is cone shaped only goes one way. Possibly backwards?

I remember that o-ring being a bit finicky. It's doesn't seal the way you think an o-ring should. It acts more like a gasket.

Shouldn't be too bad. There are a few posts here about it.

look at the collar #24 and see if the inside of the inner dia ends are the same. 1 end may have a small recess for the oring to set in to keep from crushing it as you mentioned.

Hmmm, but it started leaking not long after I installed the new one, so was not sure I did it right. I'll try it again as shown and see what happens this time.

Yes it get crushed if that is what you want to consider it. It seals oil from leaking between the shaft and part 24, then part 24 seals the outer with the seal part 22. I hope that makes sense. It has to seal in 2 places using the #22 seal against the outer diameter of #24, and then seals the shaft with the oring

DaveJ I saw that, and pretty sure I installed it that way when I replaced it a little over a year ago. Doesn't it get crushed if you put it on that way? I could not find any O-ring left at all when I pulled it apart since it was leaking again.

    Pulley shaft O-ring?

Could someone explain or show a picture of where exactly the pulley shaft O-ring is supposed to be placed on the shaft? TIA
