  • 2007 1700 R* middle driven shaft replacement

Here is the process I took when changing the mid shaft over the weekend . I hope this helps someone in the future . I was unable to find any literature on it . The bolts I removed are marked in blue . It was honestly relatively simple . I only downloaded the manual to get the torque specs .

Once the outer and inner covers are removed. Remove the front driven shaft nut and give the mid driven shaft a tap from the belt side and it should all come off in one pull easily.

Now you are ready to put the new one back in . On the belt side there will be a cone shaped spacer that goes on and butts up against the seal then the pulley then the washer ..then the nut .
