Has anyone used Baldwin Oil filters?

Stock: B1400 2 5/8" Length
B1402 3 1/2" Length
B1431 4" Length

I am currently using a KN-303C because I was told that chrome filters were double-walled and provided better protection against road debris. This could be a rumor.

Just change your oil and filter on schedule, simple, end of storey. Oil and filter wars are best left on FB, lol.

Napa is rebranded Wix. Napa Gold is Wix regular Napa Platinum is Wix Pro...What's his arguably the absolute best spin on non-reusable filter you can get for any vehicle.

I order a dozen of the Napa gold online and they came out to be about $6 a piece with tax and shipping

With the number of machines rolling through your garage I can see why you order them by the dozen. I have several Toyota's and found a larger canister filter for them I like that also fits my zero turn mower. So I get the Wix filters in a dozen box from Rock Auto. While I'm ordering I also get a few for the Road Star and my truck to save on shipping costs.

Baldwin filters are some of the most trustworthy filters on the market. I used them for years on very expensive construction type equipment and also million $ fire equipment.

I went with a B1402 this go-round. There appears to be plenty of room, so in Spring I'll go to a B1431 in preparation for the summer riding season in Arizona. The heat is brutal, and I wish I could add an external oil cooler.

keep in mind that an external oil cooler only works when you are moving and not so much in town light to light. maybe a little due to a bit more oil capacity. That is unless you found a cooler with an electric fan on it for in town riding.
