Contact TimB that posted above he can set you up with one. I bought mine from him and he gave me the best price I could find and I also like supporting those here that help others.

Sorry for the delayed response, we lost power yesterday about noon, but it's back now.

Putting an OE clutch in my '04. 61,000 miles, numerous burnouts on original clutch, Finally started slipping in 3rd & 4th gear under full-scale throttle. Going with OE frictions & Warrior spring. Total cash outlay: $88.00.
Should be good for another 60,000 miles.

When I install a new stock or EBC clutch spring, is it best to put it in gear or neutral before disassembly? Also, do I put anything on the threads of the six bolts that hold the small ring against the outside of the spring?

It can spin a little, I kept mine in 1st during instillation, guess it cant hurt. Also the service Manuel dosent say any thing about putting any thing on the threads, just to torque to required specks. I remember when I first changed my spring about 3 yrs ago from stock to EBC, I snapped off a bolt in the clutch housing, and was freaking out, till my wife said just put the broken part in and put pressure on it and back it out. The broken part came right out freak the hell out of me. So do over torque the bolts. And it will all be good. If you need a copy of the Manuel I have one for download on line at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzK...pjV2ZUM2M/view

Today, at 45K, I removed my clutch cover on my 2008 and the gasket came off easily by hand. No scraping except for some thin gasket spray residue. I bought the bike with 7K, so have no indication the cover had ever been off. Installed an EBC spring and torqued the six bolts on the spring retainer ring to 70 in/lbs (5.8 ft./lbs). That seemed real light! Is that torque correct?

Thanks Mort. Can you also look up the lift side case cover torque also. There are about 16 bolts. The service manual doesn’t list it.

Oops, didn’t do that. Wonder if that’s why some folks have not gotten a lot of miles out of an EBC. Do y’all think it is necessary to replace the retainer ring? It looks fine to me, straight, etc.

I don’t see anything called a spring seat on the Yamaha parts site. There is a spring housing and a seat plate.

I did ebc spring and didn’t replace spring seat. Mine still slips when oil change due. If the part is available I would try replacing it while your in there shores. I did notice a different profile on the edge of ebc and stock springs. I had both on hand brand new because I ordered the complete stock kit cheap.
