carb puke from here?

After coming home from a ride yesterday I went back into the garage about 10 minutes later and it smelled like gas. I started the bike back up and saw gas squirt out from the carb. It looked like it came from the place on the carb I am pointing at in the picture.
Is it time to go pumpless?

Put a hose on it and run it down below the bike and that way if it ever pukes again it'll go down on the ground and not on your hot engine.

That’s the bowl vent. That’s were fuel pukes out in case of carb puke.
Turn the gas off at the petcock about 30 or 40 seconds before you shut the bike down.
Going pumpless will solve it also.

.......and, run a hose from there to below the bike, just in case.

thanks, that does look good.
I decided to just go pumpless, I went ahead and ordered a grizzly valve. I was hoping to keep the pump on this bike as I like the look of the cover. Maybe i'll figure something to mod into it so I can keep it.
