Question about Carb Part

Does anyone know what piece this is and is that the correct shape in the back?

So I went ahead and took apart the carb and was able to easily remove the part. It is the nozzle for the main jet. Are you saying it is supposed to have only the half moon of the sleeve as shown In this photo?

Yes, the emulsion tube is shaped like that. It helps draw fuel up during high vaccum throttling and helps with atomizing fuel into the throat.
Make sure you line it up when replacing it back into the carb. It will only go in one way, unless you force it in, (no force Needed).
