Aerosol Seafoam

Has anyone used the Aerosol version of seafoam spraying straight into the carb? What were the results?

Yes take your air filter off start your bike keep it running with throttle while you spray seafoam deep creep directly into carb for about 30 seconds let it shut down and die leave it off for an hour start it back up run it hard. Very good cleaning. Between seafoam and the gas and see if I'm directly into the carb if this doesn't get the carb clean then you're going to have to pull it and manually clean it.

Spraying directly into the carb will only get to the valves and tops of the pistons to remove any carbon build up and will do nothing to the carb except maybe make the carb inlet shiny. It will not do 1 thing to unclog jets or any other internal carb circuit.

But everybody needs a shiny carb inlet! Cleaning the valves and pistons sounds productive.

but spraying it into the throat is totally useless if you have a carb issue

I have used it like lug nut described and it did improve things quite a bit but I ended up taking it apart anyway.

you can put a straw on the seafoam and squirt it directly into the port at lower left mouth of carb. I think that feeds the pilot circuit and you'll blow out dirt there for sure.

Side note- it will smoke a lot. I rode to an empty parking lot with hex key and screwdriver to remove airbox. I'm glad I did as my neighbors have to tolerate a lot already with me.
