  • Quality Fuel Pump?

    Hey fuel pump took a shit on me and ended up pushing my bike almost 2 miles lol. OEM is a little expensive and was wondering if anyone has an aftermarket brand they use and/or trust? No Wuhan $20 specials lol

    Pumpless is the cheapest and most reliable. Search this site for a description of how to easily do it.

        The cost to go pumpless is about $30 or less. Gauranteed to be far more reliable than any other fuel pump out there including OEM!

        My question would have been "do any of you guys that went pumpless have your old fuel pump setting on a shelf?" Maybe someone that has one taking up space can help out for the cost of shipping and a tip.

          Right up there with stock air filters, exhausts, seats and AIS.

        Either stock OEM Yamaha pumpbforb$190 or go pumpess. No other options you should explore.

            The last time I saw mine, it was sitting on the shop floor.

                just for balance, im not a fan of pumpless. instant start with a pump ALWAYS works for me. daily rider ALL YEAR. , pumps can be had on ebay pretty cheap too, OEM used guaranteed too. the vstar 1100 has the same middle part number.
                OH, AND ALWAYS KEEP A 3 FOOT PIECE OF FUEL TUBING IN SADDLEBAG SO YOU can run at least half power to get home.

                  I have my old pump from when I went pumpless. I wanna be upfront and tell you that it has about 80,000 miles on it, but it was working fine when I took it off(went pumpless before I was pushing mine). If you want it, its yours for cost of shipping. I don't know if year matters. Mine is off 2000 model
