  • Fuses

I have never seen a fuse box on my bike, prolly because I have never had much in the way of problems with the bike, if there is one (or did Yamaha use in line fuses only?) just where is the fuse box/panel? Truth be known I rode it for quite a while before I found out it had 4 spark plugs!

we try to promote people to learn, but u have to do your HOMEWORK.

i posted this on the FaceButt page yesterday."
      naturally, some FBers get offended.
B4 computers, you had to had to find a paper shop manual and read it. For every engine/car/bike/boat you owned , and, they were not cheap. Now they're at your fingertips. Just do a search. Learn how to search, learn search operators, learn how to narrow your search. Take it from, a young techie type, at the ripe old age of 66 yrs.
ASK us the difficult questions. or the ones that only be answered by years/decades of Roadstarring.
also, its best that you learn yourbike for yourself, if u run inot a problem in the middle of bumfuk, like out of cell phone range.
BTW, the manual can be downloaded to your phone form FB RSC. so it will iterally, be at your Ftips.

People who tap their foot waiting for the microwave never had to actually cook something.

The fuses are located under the left side cover. They look like this on my 2003.

On my 02 there's a fuse box behind the rear cylinder. There's a cover there that unbolts that hides all the wiring. It's right underneath the drivers seat

I never had a service manual until now, I didn't need one before, the bike performed flawlessly. I don't fix it if it ain't broke.
