Mounting Roadhouse duals

I'm looking at a set of what I believe are roadhouse duals but the owner isnt sure. From pictures I've found online they bolt to the motor and a bracket behind the pegs. The set I'm looking at don't appear to have a mount by the pegs but have a cobbled together mount near the tips to the saddle bag brackets.

Are these actually roadhouse duals, and any idea what's up with the mounting? Almost looks like the mufflers are flipped around or something.

They look to be HD touring mufflers on Roadhouse headers.

Not my bike. It's a guy on the Facebook page wanting to trade for my sideburner. He wasnt sure what they are but others said road house. Unfortunately we are 1,000 miles away so I can't actually look at them.

Are they 2 into 1 or duals as pipe both sides of the bike?

I ask because Roadhouse made both.

They are duals.
I agree it looks like a stock header with other mufflers. I think roadhouse puts their name on the exhaust from what I've seen. These are only mounted to the engine and the saddlebag bracket, nothing else. I'm going to pass on them.

Definitely custom brackets. Looks like square tubing welded to the bag mount frame.

There's nothing wrong with supporting it at the rear, that's how HD does it on all their touring bikes. I plan to do something similar with aftermarket HD touring slip-ons and my Bassani headers at some point.

As far as the pipes you're looking at, they're definitely HD touring mufflers on something that looks like a combo of stock front cylinder header and Roadhouse crossover. Whoever installed those welded that square tubing as a mount on to the saddlebag support. You'd have to come up with something similar if you wanted to run them, and if you don't have supports *under* your bags, you'd have a hell of a time mounting them.

I Know I Would Pass. Some "Custom" parts only fit the bike they were built on.

if those started life as a set of roadhouse they sure have been Frankensteined together over time
