Going to buy this trunk and the rack from Adamsrack. Does anyone have a similar set up?

I got a similar trunk and got it from ebay. The mount is an Ultrastar mount bought from another member.

Originally from cape breton but out west most of the time working. usually get home in the spring and early summer for a couple of months.

I went with the Royal Star Venture trunk and bracket, used $250, Better quality and less money.

is it a direct bolt on or does it require the Venture saddlebag brackets?

No trunk is a direct bolt on to our bikes, that said the Venture trunk bracket could be used without the Venture bags by cutting a pc. of flatbar and drilling to pickup the fender bolt holes then drill two more where the trunk bracket needs to go same way it is mounted to the Venture chrome L bracket.
