I have a thought.. I want a bigger (spoke) front wheel, and i know a loooot of people use harley eftermarket wheels with spacers and adapters.
And i know the stratoliner wheel is bolt on, but as i said i want spoke wheels

There are other models of metric bikes that have bigger wheels, for example (the one that i think shouldn't need to much mods) dragstar (v-star) custom with 18 inch wheel.
But i have also seen some Kawazakis and Suzukis for example that has 18-21 inch front wheels.
(Like the h*rrible intruder for example.. picture down under).
Those would be much cheaper (here in Sweden at least) to get a hand on.

Has anyone ever tried to fit something like that on a rodie?
I can´t se why it would need more modification than to fit a Harley wheel..
But i have no idea about axle sizes, bearings and so on, and i have no other metric bike to do any measurement on.

So.. is there ANYONE who knows? Or have any thoughts?

Not that i have seen....but even with bearing bwing sam size you still have to consider brake rotor size

my Vstar 650 Custom Midnight has a 19" spoked rim on the front and only one brake rotor. I don't know about sizes of axles or bearings.

I found a matching set of Japanese wheels (front 19x3.5”) at a shop that fit by adding spacers to the hub and will soon make spacers for the brake caliper. I did not have to modify the fender.

Do you know what bike they came off?
Did you use the brake rotors from that other bike, and now need to space the caliper right?

I do not know from what Japanese motorcycle the rims came from, and the original RS calipers will fit by using spacers

Yeah, i know they have bigger wheels, the question is how much mods it would take to fit that wheel to a road star.
