Vortex Intake Manifold?

Is anyone familiar with a vortex intake manifold? I friend of mine mentioned having something like that on his 1600. I’d like to lean more about it and where to find one

Snake oil dumb concept doesn't work.
your dealing with a low reving low performance (1600 make 58.5 hp to the tire stock). Best performance you can get reasonably without tearing into the motor is:

Exhaust (2 into 1 makes best power)
Hand ported stock intake manifold Properly jetted carb
Open air cleaner
CDI from a 2005-2007 that raises rev limit from 4250 to 4750 (or a Dyna 3000 ignition box which can do same thing and is adjustable)
remove AIS
Remove fuel pump and do proper pumpless conversion (declutter a bike, saves weight, allows for more air flow)
31T front pulley and new 128T belt (better acceleration)

Beyond the above items your gonna need to do big bore (108/110 cube) high comp (10.5-1) pistons, cams, ported heads etc

I figured it was a gimmick piece. I have a mikuni flat slide 42mm carb and Dyna 3000 ignition module. I’ll be putting Dyna coils and porting the intake soon. I’d like a big bore kit but would rather put that money towards a 2012 Raider SCL

Can't beat the 1900xv.....big bore is nice on a Road Star but you can get a used Raider for $5k-7k especially now. I have a Roadliner with Ivan's tune, K&N filter with lid off, and Cobra Longshots....105hp and 126 tqe to the tire. It's a beast.

Dyna coils honesty isn't going to get you ANY hp over stock and Dyna is nice for raising rev limit to 5k..42mm carb on stock engine won't make any more HP but will be smoother and more responsive
Get the Raider for a hot rod keep the road star for looks and cruising
