If you get one already converted us a direct bolt in. You want to get a manual remote adjustable pressure knob system. Makes it very nice.

If you want to spend $1000 it's a great choice lol. Roadwing is just as good and about $300

Roadwing isn't a company it is a modified goldwing shock to fit our roadstar. Contact smokescreens (Jason) here on the clinic. Send him a personal message on this site. Look at the top of your screen for the message tab.

Roadwing is definitely the way to go. Good ride and adjustable. I did the electronic setup and didn’t really like it. I ended up going with a manual rap instead.

This is one of the top 3 things you can do to improve your Roadstar.

Ok thanks. Where do get one of these shocks? I know you said it's a gold wing shock but modified so I'm assuming someone custom makes these and sells them?

Looks like its already leaking. I'd replace it.

Don't mess with stock shock..losing battle .get a Road wing conversion and be happy.

I was wondering if the rubber bumper on the rear shock could be replaced and if so what'sthe part number? . It's located inside the coil and the shock shaft runs through it. I can't seem to find it. I'm not even sure if the shock comes apart to replace it. Also is that bumper suppose to spin freely? Shock works fine even for 2 up riding its just that rubber bumper is falling apart.
