Output shaft seal

2002 Roadie chopper- had issues with the wide tire conversion, BMS offset pulley stripped the output (belt) shaft and had to replace. Took case apart on other side and found (thank God for Ebay!) another shaft. I didn't replace the seal on the pulley side, couldn't figure out how to get it out. Now I gotta replace, started leaking. Any tips on removing?

A dental pic works..hook the rubber and jiggle ..sometimes an old seal becomes the sacrificial lamb after all you’re replacing it….the O’ring (23) is usually the culprit for leaking

Did you make sure to put the thin O-ring on the shaft a head of the spacer collar?
