They are fun. I picked up on a ’89 Route 66 for cheap about six years ago. Same bike. They haven’t changed much in the last thirty years. I think they changed the front caliper to a two piston and put some different bars on it.

I rode it to work for years ‘cuz the damn thing got 90+ MPG. Never gave me a minute of trouble.
