Could I get help trying to identify my 2007 road star 1700 I think it is the Silverado but the person I'm buying from says it is the midnight. Any way to tell ? I can't get the title just yet and was needing parts specific to my model and to set up a better profile within this clinic. TIA

All Midnights are black originally, they also have chrome front ends, the speedometer says Midnight on it also.

If it is a Silverado, I'd ask where are the bags and mounts!

I like to use the Colorite website to help identify the paint codes and year, also it tells you what model is what color. In your case it tells me that it is a Standard Road Star.https://www.colorrite.com/

As roadtoad1 said, if it is a Silverado, ask for the bags, mounting brackets and windshield.

It's not a Silverado, but many add Silverado parts over the years, the serial # tells the real story.

My first was a Silverado, but after destroying it 48 days later, I found a 'plain' Midnight Star, to which I have added multiple Silverado accessories (boy! was THAT expensive!...and some parts are getting hard to find!)

Thanks everyone for all the help. It is definitely the standard road star 1700. With silver flame paint . It looks nothing like the original picture. I am even more stoked now in hopes of finding parts easier and more affordable!
but I've yet to see it .

Whatever fits a standard also fits a Silverado also fits a midnight also fits a silver edition ... lather, rinse, repeat.
The only Roadstar stuff that won't interchange with any of the above is stuff from a Roadstar Warrior.
