How / where do they attach? Do they work with the stock windshield?

Father Pobasturd, they mount to the lower two holes in the stock windshield bracket. They'll hit crash bars if you have them (I have a pair of the chrome lowers same style).

Didn't you put on one of the keyed quick detach windshields? If so, those won't have the mounting holes. I sold my deflectors to a guy who had one and he couldn't use them. Out of kindness I allowed him to return them to me. Just cost him the ride to figure it out.

I'm impressed you remember I had the Quick disconnect model. Thank you for saving us both a lot of time and money. But damn, I need some of these. I'm told they will reduce buffeting, and I have beau coup of that. I don't wear a helmet, but the buffeting blows my glasses off over 40 mph. Any ideas of something else I could try?

I think Memphis Shades makes one that uses a clamp around the shock tube that should work.

On my '01 R*, I have the Lindby engine guard. They don't hit with it.

Do you have that Lindby Bar that dips down at the top? I think that's why they are made like that.
