Vibration at the front wheel

Could it be a burnished point on the disc? Something like a long stop down hill where you have had to keep the front brake on for a time like at the lights and the heat cant dissipate maybe it has a burnished point on that disc??

Turned out to be the tire all along. Defective Michelin Commander 3 front tire.

This proves the old adage of “bad data in… bad data out”….. kinda hard to assist when information like the above is stated…. Fixation on brakes and rotors and a further statement that the steering bearing failed the flop test and was tightened… it makes it very difficult to offer assistance with leading information to establish an incorrect diagnostic profile….
and then get called names by the OP… i find the whole endeavor rather discouraging to share experiences and troubleshooting methods….

Not sure if i would be considered “narcissistic” or just “disappointed”… since i no longer find myself willing to step out of my “box”…. Passive observer seems to be my new frame of conduct now… carry on fellow gearheads….

Lol, this is a problem everyone that tries to help goes through,poor explanations of the problem mixed with self diagnosis and hurt feelings if you suggest something other than what they are thinking, Don't stop helping if you can, someone will appreciate you for it even if they are few and far between, thick skin helps too.

Please don't stop offering advice. Yours is always sensible and focused. Just realize that the people asking for advice don't have your experience and knowledge and may not comprehend the logic necessary for proper troubleshooting. This poster was gracious enough to respond and informed everyone about the problem he found, the solution, and the results. How many ask for help, get multiple responses, and we never hear back from them? That's what makes me want to become the passive observer. As Roadie says, thick skin helps. Over the years I've developed Stegosaurus spikes running down my back.
