So...long story short, my bike popped a curb and now I've got a bubble on my flanges on front and back rim, fixable? If so how?

No fix for that. You will need a new wheel. Post your need for one in the classifieds here and there are likely members who will have either a spoked or mag OEM wheel for a good price.

I have an extra set of OE spoked wheels in good shape in Northern Iowa.

I recently paid $50 for them. I saw they were local and they looked better than mine so I picked them up. After I thought about it later I decided I wasn't going through the trouble of changing them.

I had a fiancée ride my bike into a lake. I married her anyway. What a mistake that was!

Shipping might not be that bad if you put a bid out on Uship especially if you can strap them on a 1/2 pallet.
For those of you who've never used them, don't be shocked by the first couple bids coming in at $2/mile.
Once others see the bids they start a bidding war in a race to the bottom price.
You can also set your own -price & let them make offers or accept the ride.
Post a picture of what you're shipping, you'll get faster more accurate replies.

A couple wheels would be very easy for a trucker to stick in a load already going cross country.
