Ultimate Seat Set SOLD

I have a nice studded set of Ultimate driver, passenger, and driver backrest that I purchased from a member here. I am asking what I paid for them here but if nobody wants them I will post elsewhere at a small profit, $200.00 plus shipping. I paid $260.00 total for them with shipping. The wife doesn't like them, go figure.

Yes, it's three pieces. Run the seats without backrest, run only the driver's seat OR if you were so inclined run only the passenger seat...

That is a smoking deal! To my knowledge the backrest attaches to the passenger seat so in order to have the backrest you need to have the passenger seat on. I have an ultimate driver seat but I use a grasshopper backrest that attaches to the fender.

Yes it slips in the passenger seat very securely. Brad bought it and he's going to pick it up.

I'm not a backrest fan. I tried the Grasshopper ( universal add on ) and didn't like it so I sold it. The Ultimate set that I had I didn't run the backrest on it.

I wouldn't ride without my backrest. I typically do 200 to 300 mi day rides and longer overnighters. The backrest keeps me from getting so tired and allows me to sit up straighter. The grasshopper backrest flexes some and is not rigid like most, but at 180 lb I find it very comfortable and I don't even realize it's there. I can lean against it and the metal does not fatigue. Just Google grasshopper motorcycle backrest.

Are you talking about a grasshopper or another brand? The grasshopper is designed to attach to a bracket that it comes with that mounts underneath the passenger seat bracket. But that doesn't mean you can't just bolt the grasshopper bracket to the fender. I have a chrome diamondback harley bib on my fender and my grasshopper bracket just bolts to the top of it. Had to do a little finagling.

Works fine with my ultimate seat and it worked fine with the ed seat that I returned.
