Luggage rack

Good Morning Fellas,
I have a 01 Roadstar Silverado that I purchased used there was some parts that he removed was handed over to me as well one of them was the luggage rack that I want to put back on but I can’t see how it goes back on I’m not sure if something is missing or modified could someone post some pictures…

There are two different styles of luggage racks from Yamaha. The earlier model (and will show for '99-'03 in their parts catalog) that mounts to the rear bolt that I believe holds the pillion seat on and the license plate bracket. Technically I'm not sure why this wouldn't also work on later models as well unless the license plate mount is different.

The second style mounts to the OEM standard backrest. Do either of these look like what you have?

The top picture is the one I have but I can not figure out how it mounts. I’m not sure if I’m missing something to mount to the tag plate. That’s why I was asking for some pictures of it mounted on the bike.
