Duke , will this be a direct bolt-on with my H/C, or would jetting or similar changes be needed? I assume the jetting would be off.

I'm sure it will work perfectly with HC pistons on a 1600. Main jet is 167.5 and plenty of adjustments on the needle. Needle is on the 3rd clip.
For a 1700, you would want at least a 170 main jet.

Duke, sorry, but I was referring to a hyper-charger, not high compression pistons. I should have been a little more clear!

Sorry, I was think about pistons, but I'm sure the hyper-charger can be mounted to that carb. I'm not sure if it's a direct fit or not.

Yes it can work, but you would need to modified the cable ends.

Yes, this is set up for the 1600. It can be set up for the 1700 and I can port a manifold for it.
