Hello anyone does my 2002 yam Xv1600 Wildstar UK have a dignostic plug for checking electrical diodes.

One other question, probably silly question but does a 1200w stereo amplifier put a lot of stress on my battery or just a bit more, my battery is pretty good and never had a starting problem 310cca. I trickle charge my battery once every week.

Thankyou my amp is custom made by Fender cost me an absolute fortune.

The 1600 has a notoriously weak charging system that can't keep up to high draw, some change out the stator and rectifier from the later 1700 sold in USA & Canada to compensate.

I realise i will have to change the stator i have changed one of these before on a xv1100 so i have rough idea how to do it and i know it needs to be compatible with ribber grommet seal for the oil in the casing. Thankyou everybody. Great comoradery ( cant spell ).
