One way, also doable cutting a saw cut in the neckplate, pull the bottom out and weld.

That's the better way to ensure adequate handlebar clearance with the fuel tank.

I have been looking for a set of raked trees for our RS myself. I called Barons to see if they still made them, and I was told that they discontinued the trees for our RS.
I believe that Custom Triple Tree, https://customtripletrees.com/Yamaha.html is still making them for our bikes. I sure like the way my bike handles after adding a set on one of my bikes with a 21" front wheel. They are expensive, I purchased my 5.5" set for $1050.00. Maybe if we could place a order for a couple sets, or more, we could get a discount? I could call and find out.
Not sure how many people would be interested, but if you are, please let me know.
