  • GoldWing shock available

I know it's on the upper end of pricey, but decent miles.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/26535555547....c100148.m2813

only has 34k miles on it. Bidding starts at $180.

I picked up one this afternoon from these guys for a little over $200 with only 150miles on it.

Why doesn't anyone sell a RAP by itself? You can't get a replacement r1100, r1150, or r1200 RAP without buying the whole damn shock.

I had sourced one from a local trike shop that I was just about to pull the trigger on for $300. I just couldn't bring myself to do it, but I guess that number being thrown out made it easier to swallow the $220 I just dropped.

I could not see, though, paying this price for the ones listed that have over 100k miles and need new bump stops and just look like crap. $220 with 150mi vs $1400 new out of the box is a hell of a value.

does anyone know what RAPs are compatible? Would an HD RAP off of a 2018 Breakout work?

I've seen the BMW R series are favorites. I have found one for a Honda ST1300. I figure Honda should bolt up to Honda, right?

    Ducati RAP it is!

Hell, just being a Ducati part should give me 10/15hp, right?

didn't even have to buy the shock with it..

That RAP on ebay for the Ducati looks just like the two I have for my Roadies although the attached mounting bracket might be slightly different.

        BTW

If one of you guys decides to pick up the ebay shock listed above, I made contact with a guy that's parting out his 2003 Honda ST1300 and was willing to just sell the RAP. I had just bought the Ducati one when he emailed be back saying yes. I have his contact information. PM me and I will pass it along.
