      The Dynatec 3000 replaces the stock CDI box.
      There are no points . You still need coils.

    Rad! So to clarify on the geometry, is the frame 3up 2out? And the springer is 1under? Are you going to put the battery under the oil bag?

      I do not remember the frame measurements.
      The rake is 34ยบ.
      Yes, the battery will be on the bottom of the frame under the oil tank.
      The springer is 22" which is stock for a sportster. Just coincidence.
      You could ask Kate at Cycle One about the frame measurements.

    Today April 22,2019
    I might get the machined adapter back from the machine shop to install my front wheel with brake.
    The adapter was to give clearance between the brake caliper and the spokes.
    The wheel will also be centered in the forks. 11.5" brake disc on a 77-83 Sportster front wheel.
    I will also have room for the Harley speedometer drive that is 2240:60 ratio on a 21" front wheel.
    Avon Roadrider 90/90 front tire. Ultima 4 piston brake caliper. Stainless Russel brake hose.

      Today I got the special spacer that was machined by Metal works Precision Machine& Tool in Tucson.
      They were on the Eastside of Tucson instead of along the Freeway like most metal businesses.
      Good for me so I do not have to drive 23 miles to get help.

      So I was able to assemble the front wheel so that the caliper does not rub on the spokes, and the wheel
      is centered in the front forks. Very important.
      So it is a 77-83 Sportster front wheel made for 2 10" front discs.
      It was advertised and sold as a 1984-99 Sportster wheel.
      I have a 11.5 Inch disc mounted on a special spacer on the L/H side
      that mounts on a 2.4 inch hub mount and the spacer accepts a 2" or 2-1/4" disc mount hole. A standard HD style brake disc can be replaced .
      It is a DNA Caliper mount with a Ultima 4 piston brake caliper.

            I like the looks of your seat was it custom made or did you to buy it. How wide is it and how long is it? Does it feel comfortable?

              It is a Bates seat. It is 16" long and 13" wide. 2 inches thick.

              It is NOT a Bates style seat. It is a real Bates seat.

              "Bates Style Tuck and Roll Solo Seat" $127.00 (Sorry I guess it was Bates Style)
              Some Vendors charge $200 for this same seat.
              This is the right one though.

              Same here got one a month ago and it lasted 8 years and was still working good. Didnt want to take a chance to get stranded lol it is a house brand of Magnacharge Batteries here in NB Canada.

              I have the headlight mounted,tail lights mounted, and clutch cable installed.
              Also got the TC BROS weld on kickstand installed. Not easy.

                It might be possible but I have not measured it.

                I built a previous bike just like this one that did incorporate the
                transfer case. Just useless weight designed to lower the belt drive speed.
                Since both bikes were chain drive there was no need for the transfer case.
                Using the transfer case does save money because you do not have to buy an oil tank.

              Almost ready to start the bike up. all I need is the air filter bracket and bolts that hold it on. It was missing when I got the engine.
              I just noticed it was missing. I hope to get it in the mail today. I do not think it it will run right without the filter.
              I will go get my gas can filled today. Maybe I can start it up tomorrow.
