Hey guys, long time no see. Been away since the old site shut down. Unfortunately my build thread for this bike was lost. Plan on doing some more work to her this season and I thought I would share.

I am a fan of the Rat look. Sometimes I hit the frame and tank with WD40 and steel wool and it brings it back to bare metal look but thats as clean as the killer gets lol

Still kind of bummed about loosing my old build thread but I am working on downloading the hundreds of photos off of photo bucket so i can dump them in this thread. Will be missing all the awesome conversations we had along the way but better than nothing i suppose

So I am FINALLY tidying up my wiring harness. I actually just purchased an extra on ebay so I can extend things with the proper color wires and what not.

What things can I delete off the harness and not have to worry about?

Things I have already "Deleted"
Neutral Switch
Side Stand Switch
Speed Sensor
Speedometer wires
Fuel Pump
Fuel Sender

Always thought mid controls should have been an option when buying new. Is it easy enough to put in place as you did?

I can't quite remember how the stock frame looked in that area. With the middle drive gear removed and a bare bones frame its fairly easy to put things where you want them. I am sure if you tried hard enough you could weld on some kind of bracketry and make it work.

I went from stock forwards to rear controls and finally to mid. I had back surgery in 2019...just not taking care of my back and doing dumb things like building rigid bike frames. I appreciate being able to stand up on the mid pegs. They do kind of get in the way at a stop though.

As well as can be. Back injury and surgery story as you for different reasons. Yea, all is well. Always thing about the build you were doing as well as the RD in the garage in Geneva. Been waiting to get my hands on it!!

My Dad ended up selling that to Lanes I believe! He is currently working on an old Honda Z50 Christmas Special... they are going for crazy money these days... $10K for a nice one. There was (2) brand new in crate (How they came to the dealer) that sold at auction for $48K!!!!!!
