There are to much small ”damage” because of my crappy welding machine i had, and cause im not being a welding pro either

Been tryin to weld, grind and so on for to many times now, the material is going to thin.
wont be worth the money to chrome it..
i might build a new one and use the old school gas weld, and get that chromed.

but will ride for this to begin with..
what to do..? Paint it black? If i leave it as it is it will rust lile

At least i got some sh*t done this weekend. Painted the rear end..



and started to rebuild the rear as well..
looks good so far, but will be more chrome added to



And yeah, i made some floorboard inserts to!
Just didn’t want to have same as everybody else, so i made them out of leather

Did a quick wash today, added some chrome at the rear end, and she got to se the sunlight for first time for a very long time..

Rear lights, some electrical stuff, bleeding the rear brake, making exhaust brackets and some painting left to do.
probably something i forgot tho

I think it will be 6*30mm flat iron (don't know if you call it that in english, direct translation from Swedish haha).
I have made attachments in the frame to attach them, now I will just figure out the shape of the brackets themselves .. and get them fixed in the pipes in some way.

Hey if you want to add to the chromed rear end since you got the phantom axle covers you can buy a couple of sets of Harley Davidson down tube covers which are the same size as the tubes on the swing arm to make some easy chrome covers for the rest of the swing arm.

Just cut them to length and then make sure to seal over the cut area to prevent future corrosion. I used those for the frame areas under the seat to complete the chrome out of the frame. They will work on the down tubes on our bikes as well and the tubes on the swing arms of our bikes.

Lifegurad, a little OT but.. I LOVE YOUR rear belt pulley, where is it from, or did you make it yourself? :O

The rear belt pulley was a type that was sold a long time ago and made poorly. They cut the teeth in the pulley with really sharp edges that cut the crap out of yiur belt. I still have it but will have to grind down each sharp edge before i use it again. Also to teeth are just slightly too far apart and so I believe it may be responsible for the belt ribs being torn loose. I don't use it now since I replaced the belt. I may get back to it if I grind the edges on all of the teeth of the pulley and try again.

My jack dosn’t lift 100% straight, my floor aint straight and the stand is (like you know) a side stand.


HOW will i get the tail light and the turn signal bracket straight? Lol

Was thinking about laser, but that requires that the bike is totally lined up straight

i don’t know where you get that from, but no, i have absolutley no heat, and no isolation.
its been cold as ice the whole winter since i live in Sweden.. and i have so large gap between the garage doors så when it’s snowy outside, it kinda gets snowish inside as well

I f*cked up, big time lol. Used the wrong white paint so i took a very much to yellow-ish on the rear fender… AND i removed the masking tape to soon, that did do some damage as well.. and i painted when it was waat to cold! But i was in a hurry and didn’t think things thru..




I dont have time to re do it now, this will do for the season, and maybe i will paint the entire bike after summer..

I mean, im faaar from perfect, why should not my bike match up with me?

Life is a dance, you learn as you go. Still rather impressive work - certainly better than anything I could do. I recently had a fuck up wrenching in the cold - I know that plastic wire connectors don't like to be handled in 15*F, yet I was in a hurry and wasn't thinking logically. Like you, I regretted that decision.

I agree with the machine representing the rider - that's why all my rigs are ass ugly, but run like new and always ask for more.

For what it's worth, I like the look of that eggnog-ish white. Looks much more retro and unique.

yeah i know it gives more character, and well.. it will never be perfect when i do it myself.. and not with all shit around like painting when it’s cold and so on haha..

and YES i like the of-white more! But it sucks that it aint the same on the tank and front fender haha..

First short test ride

It seems to ride pretty well, even tho i have to bleed the rear brake, but i couldn’t wait to try it

The exhaust needs som more paint to, but runned out of paint. Missing some chrome, but at least im staring to feel the light at the end of the tunnel lol.

Just relocated the signal horn, a bit lower and centered.
It might be a tiiiny overkill to make the bracket out of 6mm iron.. but i think it looks good, and thats what i had at home from building exhaust brackets
