hi,
just thought i'd introduce myself.
My names Leigh from England. im an engineer by trade so most of the work done is custom and not off the shelf parts.
had my xv1600 for about 9 years and only rode it the first 2 of ownership.
It has been in a state of modification in storage up until this year where i have decided to bring it out and finish it.
I brought the bike standard but now it is far from standard.
modifications include: alterations to the frame, tank swap, custom forward controls, custom exhaust, rear mudguard shortened, side mounted number plate and light, custom bars, custom seat, AIS and fuel pump removal
as well as lots of small bits that i can't remember.
future modifications will include engine performance gains and a full rewire using the motogadget m.unit blue and the digital pro gauge and a general tidy up.
