Has anyone tried the Z1R low solo seat? I'm looking for a seat that will sit me lower in the bike. This is my "around town" ride, so no 500 mile days. If I was going for comfort I would go back to the Ultimate seat.

Dragger USA sits lower and back a little... Great quality.. Not as comfy as a touring seat obviously

Someone makes a "potato chip" seat for our bikes. I don't know who or if they are still available. That's as far as my vast wealth of knowledge goes. Some have just chopped down the foam in the stock seat.

That looks a bit like my Looney, and love my seat, especially with a backrest. My first R* came with the Pacific Coast Star Potatochip and the damn thing bruised my tailbone on the first ride home. I could barely ride it for more than 20 mins. Then again, every ass is different, YMMV.

I don't doubt that, they trim down the plastic and foam on the stock seat pan, you have to give them your core for the next guy.

You are exactly Right roadiemort . I have one and that is exactly what they do . With the Extra Homegrown Padding I'm equipped with it works for me on a few hundred mile day trip but if I'm going 300+ my OEM goes back on .
