A larger front wheel? 21 inch maybe?
If you shorten the main leaf it’ll bring the front leg back, and may allow you to skip the extra leaf.

Yea I was thinking that too, it's funny how thing and looks change when it off the table and on the ground.

Ok guy's sorry I have been away family things and vacation gets in the way sometimes but I mocked up a new set of bars for the bike that I think looks better, because of the shape and location and the size of the bender die I wanted to use these are actually made in three pieces and still need a little tweeking but I got to stare at them awhile, tell what you think, if you like or don't tell what needs to be changed.

What brand and model # is the tank you chose?

A little less angle on the grip ends. That's what I don't like about the stock bars, to much wrist angle! JMO. Hope everybody had a good holiday!

Yeh! That's what I'm talkin' about! I like that bar. I like a wide bar. I've put one on my bobber, and my two-rider, and I like wider bars. They're just so much more classical.

So your wrist is not turned as much. Somewhere between a drag bar and the way you have it now. Never liked the way most stock bars have you turning your wrist out. Maybe because i have wide shoulders, I don't know. Never really heard other people complaining about the wrist angle. would like to have a set of bars that keep my wrist more inline with my forearm. I'm not sure if it would look better or not. But I would rather be comfortable more than anything.

Made a little progress on the oil tank and electrical box and the battery box below the tank which is just sitting there not sure if that is where it will stay.

I mean no offense, and it's only a matter of my taste, but I'm big on minimalism, as I thought this project was going to be... why would you think it would need an oil cooler, and it is possible to run oil too cool, so that it doesn't do its job properly... will you use some kind of thermostat to prevent undertemp oil??? I'm grateful for new pics, as it's been awhile... I hope you don't mind my questioning your decision about an oil cooler, I'd love to learn of your reasoning. TIA

No offense taken, the reason for the cooler and this isn't set in stone is that i'm not using the transfer gear box which does help in cooling so if I need it I have it if it runs cool enough without I won't put it on.
