None at all, unless you’re gonna have a passenger seat.

The simple short one would be my choice if I couldn't make it shorter. I included a few pictures of one of mine.

I like the shortest one but would prefer the center flater to match the profile of the fender

I went with the flat fender cause there is going to be a passenger from time to time im not sold on it either,it still has to be shortened at the blue tape line. Thanks keep the ideas coming.

The 6 1/2" tall dim. is to the top of the terminal nuts open enough to get a few leads under them. Screwed down tight no leads is only 6 1/4"

The 08 and FI up use a smaller battery if space is an issue. YW

Depending on your passenger MOST old school king/queen seats are surprisingly narrow, like 4-6" of butt width. I went with a slightly wider setup on mine at 7" and my queen has zero complaints. And it's removable being I ride solo most of the time.

Yeah did an electronics box under the seat a la the standard Harley oil bags. Plenty of room. Just need to move my ignition coils in there and possibly a little lithium battery.

I'm lovin' followin' this thread. Love watchin' someone with some talent and tools do what I could never do. That said, I had the same first impression about the handle bars that was mentioned awhile back... that the bike seems so Old Skool, but the bars looked too contemporary for this build. But, I'm willin' to withhold further judgment until I see them in place. I cannot question anything else, so I could be very wrong about the bars. Oh, and I'm a taller sissy bar kinda guy, and thought the taller ones were the better choice.

Ok here it is tell me what you think and don't be bash full ,I already know I will have to add at least one leaf to the front spring and I already don't like the bars going to fab up a set of beach bars and see how they look and feel.
Still have to trim rear fender and I installed a air ride seat.

The beach bars with short risers will look better I think.

Whew she's a beast. The bars were the only thing I was going to mention. It disrupts some beautiful flow. Not sure of your riding style but i'd say go for some Tokyo-style inspiration with some narrow downturns. This is way too narrow and extreme for that front but the shape would balance out with your sissy bar nicely.
