      There's nothing to pick apart. You are an artist. Please write more. Nothing is too technical for this group. Is the frame TIG welded? What size wheels are you planning to use? Sprung seat? What will you use for a gas tank? Oil tank? Chain drive or belt? Are you working from a picture or a sketch or a set of prints, or what? Thanks for sharing.

        There is one thing that will be IMPOSSIBLE for you to do on this bike build. You will not be able to post too many pictures or tell us too much detail with all you are doing!

        Hoping that you consider that a challenge!

            Hi guy's

            To answer some of your questions the frame is 1.250 x .120 wall chromoly tube all tig welded,going to run 16" wheels on both ends with Avon MKII 500-16 tires,will be using an air ride seat,custome made fuel and oil tank,it is chain drive i have removed the transfer gear.I just bent up a set of handlebars from 1.250 x .120 wall tube with 1.00 ends for the controls i haven't tack them up yet so tell me what you guy's think.

                  Hello Dean, I've been following your build and have looked at your photos several times. Your skills are to say the least impressive. I would like to see a set of plans for your frame jig myself I have kept going back to your front suspension over and over again, maybe I am not seeing the photos correctly, it just seems to me the way the front wheel pivots on the fork, it will be pulling down on your spring, not pushing up on it. That will put all the pressure on your mounting plate. I guess the way I am seeing it the leaf spring is stacked upside down, the small one should be on the bottom with the intermediate length one in the middle and the main spring on top. Other wise as it is the main spring is doing all the work and the other 2 are just spacers.

                  Please correct me if I am seeing it wrong.

                      Hi HotRod,
                      There are no real plans for the fixture it's something i put together that works for me,it is fully adjustable for wheel base and frame width also the aluminum clamps will handle from 1 1/2" od tube down to 1" by using the half shells in the clamps.i will try and put some pictures and dimensions together and post it.Also the leaf spring is just mounted for mockup it does pull down there are 2 more leafs that belong under the main leaf i just didn't put them in there yet.

                        Dean,
                        The handlebars look good but not on this build. They are too contemporary for a rigid with a leaf spring fork. In my opinion buck horns, apes, or even a drag bar would look great as long as they were mounted on risers. And {just my opinion} stay away from the "adjusting the hot water while sitting in the bath tub" riding position.
                        Keep the pictures coming. You have piqued a lot of interest here.

                          Just want to add a little update,leaf spring fork is all welded up and ready to go,still working on the spring reversing the leafs and adding one.

                            Just want to give you guy's an update rear fender is mounted and strut's are made just need to make up a short sissy bar and shorten fender.I made three option's of the sissy bar wanted to ask which one you guy's would go with,these are bent up with welding wire and a little hard to see.

                            Wow! Great thread! I do not know much about builds, but my guess the frame is a lot lighter, and the bike will go like stink due to power to weight. i would be curious as to the weight of the bike after it is built.
