New bike build

Here's a couple of pictures of a build i started about 6 or 7 months ago using a XV1600 Yamaha engine,needed something to do since i retired a few years ago.I first had to build the fixture to build the frame on and then started bending the tubing and fabing the frame. To the moderator if this is in the wrong area please move to where ever.I will be adding more as i go along .

We had a member ”Luckydon” I think, who did a really good looking bike using a different frame and Roadie motor, except he didn’t build his own frame. Kewel stuff.

Looks like you have lots of talent my friend, just not a fan of the hard tail like UtraStar said. I'm 73, and that sucker would beat me to death. Looking forward to see the progression.

The main thing I see wrong with that frame is it's in the wrong garage. I'm sure it's supposed to be in mine. Seriously, beautiful job on that and the jig. I would make and keep plans, there may be others here wanting one.

I made a little more progress on the bike in the last few weeks,built a leaf spring front fork something i have wanted to do for a long time,all pieces are bent ,coped and mocked up and tacked and seems to function ok,doesnt look the same as the early Indians and HD's but i didn't want that just the function.So check it out,pick it apart if you see something that you do think will work let me know.
