I've got mine tore apart again to figure out the sway in the rear end. everything looks solid, so upping tire pressure and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't its new tire time...

Yeah, the back of that bike swayed so much it scared me. I thought sure you were going to lose it but you didn't even seam to notice it was doing that.

I'm afraid to change my oil to close to the m&g

Just got calipers back today from machine shop now waiting on Correct gasket (local store ordered me cover 1 instead of cover 2) so I can swap out stator. Got to change oil and filter also. And ride 200. Iles to make sure everything is OK. Dang.

I just got a phone call from a woman at the front desk at the motel in Harrisburg. She called me because we had talked before and apparently felt comfortable. Sounds like there was some confusion regarding the motorcycle group as opposed to the starfest group. Anyway all of the reservations are just fine and if you call make sure you use the word starfest when asking about reservations. This will bring up the starfest group with our rooms listed.

I hope this makes some kind of sense. See you all in a few weeks

Called yesterday and today during business hours no answer no way to leave message

Called after hours number and he told me he cannot make reservations...

Finally got in touch with hotel and booked my reservation... I plan on arriving Wednesday evening to check in and staying until Sunday at checkout time.

Added RAP to my Road Wing... Big heavy bitch needs preload. Gave her a bath and ready to start organizing where to pack stuff. Changed oil and filter and gave bike a once over... Again... HD tourpack and bags gonna make trip a whole lot easier.

Who cares what logo on the inside of your bag. Those HD bags are good bags, and I wish Yamaha would have continued making bags. There is no doubt that HD does make some good accessories and we get what we can find to make our bikes, our ride. I wouldn't care if it said Cushman or Sears and Roebuck on them, it's cool what your doing.
I've been working on several different bikes for people and myself wouldn't give up my 01 Road Star for any other bike. For me, it's the best feeling cruiser I have ever rode. The add on's are icing on the cake.

Yes, you are right Jaybo. The details that we do to our bikes, makes them "our bikes". I don't have any emblem on my bike, and have had a lot of people asking; what kind of bike is that?

HEYDUKE! Do you have a valve cover gasket for rear cylinder on a 1600? I think I got a leaker and maybe we can replace it at the meet and greet as a how to.

Which gasket? The very top gasket?
I just put both gaskets in the top of my bags. Hope it's just the upper gasket, the second one down is a little harder.

Does anyone have a touchless thermometer that they can bring so that we can be a little safer and check everybody's temp daily? I have a forehead touch thermometer that I will bring so I don't have to use my other thermometer on y'all!

I've got one for checking exhaust and tire Temps... Not sure if it would be accurate for humans!
