The building that was the public library back when I was young has a statue of James Bowie kneeling out front (Bowie County, TX). I wish I could ride. Surgery tomorrow, hopefully riding is going to happen soon!

Ok, I think I found MikeyC target of a city library. Bike is at Dad's shop where I was doing some lighting changes. So I rode down to the library to get this on Friday.

Next target, you're bike in front of a building or sign/vehicle of a business with a clever name or slogan. Example, a couple local septic services have writing on the back of their pumper trucks of "Number 1 in the number 2 business" Or "A flush beats a full house".

So what creative names or slogans do you have in your area?

I would like to play but still down with my knee, another 6 weeks or so and I can put weight on my left leg. Then we shall see.

Well at this rate the target may be the same. Keep recovering and hopefully you'll be back on 2 wheels soon. I dropped my bike last fall and broke my ankle. Sucked recovering, but it was the end of riding season. So didn't have to watch others ride when I couldn't. I feel for you.....

MikeyC that's exactly what I was looking for. Although the picture is a head scratcher, isn't the Harley supposed to be on the rollback and the Roadie on the ground? BTW the last target I saw on the other site was your bike along the same model bike. I immediately thought of you since you have more than one in the garage. But if you're at StarFest you could get way more than two in the pic!

We’ve got starfest pic posted on the meet thread. The second days ride overlaped the first day so we didn’t miss to much. Still got to make the best part which is the visiting in the evening

OK, got-er-done! One street over and right at dusk. If you rode the bonus loop with us after the Day 2 ride at Starfest, we rode right by here, in the town of Metaline Falls.

Next challenge is to get a shot in front of a USA military vehicle, active service or retired, such as an old WWII Jeep. Has to have military markings unless it's an obvious 6x6 or similar. Ex military Humvee works.

Bonus points if it's flying the Red, White, and Blue, and has official military markings, and more yet if it's a military motorcycle!

nuts, i was just next to a jeep. was at a reunion of sorts with my father for south Vietnamese paratroopers and a few of their US advisors. when i joined, they gave me one of these .

Yeah I was thinking about offering a bounty based on which vehicle someone was able to find. The bike would score the highest. Did the USA use sidecars? Hmmmm.

Yours would have been a cool reunion for us since Anne is a VN refugee who fled as a child to the USA with her family in 1975!

MidnightRide nice work! When you say vehicle, does a tank count? Or are you looking for something more truck/jeep based? I know a couple spots where I might be able to find something.

Tank definitely works! Anything with a motor that'll roll on its own volition!

That is very cool, Mr. Miyagi! Killed two birds with one stone! Congrats on your timing! Also, glad to see that you're healed-up enough to get out there and play around a bit like this!

This was the first time I got to play, I have been laid up thinking of where I would have rode to meet the challenges since December. I am glad to be back on my bike. I still walk with a cane and fasten it across my mirrors with the little bungie on the left side.

I actually went out this morning to take a photo of a military vehicle ( the old jet I used to climb around on when I was a kid) and when I came back home to post Ironman had me beat, but he must have been reading my mail lol. How about a mural on a wall with some local history?

That's a good one! I have an idea but it's over an hour away and time isn't on my side at the moment. We'll see if this challenge is still around in a few days/week.
