Scavenger Hunt Time!

Ok...with the return of nice weather let's see if we can revive this thread

Since it's officially the beginning of baseball season lets do an easy one. I propose a picture of your bike in front of a baseball (or softball) field. If you live in a city with a major league team you won't see the field so the bike can be in front of the stadium and hopefully there is a sign to indicate which it is. For those that live in small communities it can be a youth field at your local park (but field needs to be visible in pic.

I like that one....but yeah...many of those dried up decades ago in this region.

Either nobody is interested in the scavenger hunt anymore or this one was too difficult. I didn't think it was that tough, but maybe region makes a big difference like Brad_G indicated. Below are photos taken about 30 minutes from my house.

We'll try another. Next up: your bike with someone mowing the lawn somewhere in the background.

Yeah I did a Google search and the nearest to me is over an hour away. Either the weather hasn't been cooperative or I've been out of town to go find it. It's your challenge so you can decide to change it or let this one ride out a little longer.

I heard a lawnmower Sunday and I knew in the back of my mind that there was SOMETHING I was going to do! I have "oldtimers" disease.

You betch I felt a little weird pulling up and taking a picture of someone mowing the lawn so when home and enlisted the help of my buddy. Figured the helmet would indicate it was staged.

Which brings up a question for future finds.

Are staged pictures acceptable? I figured a pic of my bike with a burrito on the triple tree is pretty staged

I'm sure they're out there. Just like the Road Star, being discontinued they're not as prevalent as they once were. As DEEPHATE said, weather hasn't been great for hunting either in the Midwest.

Ya. We just finished a 2 week stint of sunny weather although a couple of mornings it was in the low 30’s. Mu fingers froze. Rain is suppose to be back tomorrow

Apologies for the boring Olds. It technically meets the criteria, but I'll gladly defer if somebody has something cool.

Haha..yeah there's nothing cool about that car in my eyes...but I don't recall that being necessary to meet the challenge. Just that it was an Olds.

Guess I shouldn't be so harsh as it does have a spoiler after all.
