looks like most of the OG members are staying at Ela Campground but there is 2 hotels near it I'll put info after work

Lori and I will be there. Ela Canpground for us this time around. Might do the whole week this time. Probably take a day or two and do some hiking in the mountains. Can’t get enough of that part of the country.

Dates are official. We plan on getting there on Saturday, September 7. See a few sights, hike a little. Most everyone is coming in on Tuesday, September 10th.

Hi Preston, Sorry to hear that things got a little tight..... As It looks now, I am tentatively planning on coming this year. (Subject to weather and many other potential issues......) If I do attend this year, I'll probably only hang a little with the group..... Getting excited to do some extended riding......

Just checking in to see if the Smoky's meet and greet is still on? Who's thinking of attending so far, Deerkiller and friend, Grant, Gus, Jake?, Preston? anyone else?

Oh it’s on for sure. Just got my new tires delivered last week. Hoping to get the bike all squared away in the next 2 weeks for the upcoming shenanigans, lol.

Grant invited a couple that is planning on being there. Newcomers for this event. Don’t know if anyone else. Except maybe Joe if we can get him to come for a few rides.

Kyle, thanks for the response. I plan on attending. I should know for certain by the end of the week. Bike goes into the shop for its annual inspection and a once over by my service. guy. I presume everyone is staying at Ela Campgrounds?

Gus is staying at Lloyd’s as far as I know. Most of the crew will be at Ela campground.

Just got my third set of tires Saturday! Cant wait till September!

Dropped off the tires at the dealership today. Got there just in time. Traffic around here sucks in the afternoon. Should pick them all up tomorrow hopefully.

Had another problem when removing the brake calipers on one of the bikes. Damn threads in the fork came out with one of the bolts. Damn.

Was going to go the HeliCoil route but then did some research and the Timesert looks like a much better repair. Ordered the kit (holy crap $$$$) and will be working on it next week. Ordered some drilled race spec bolts for the caliper mounting bolts today also. Figured I’ll torque them properly this time and just safety wire them for my peace of mind. New battery, new brake pads, brake fluid. Lot to do. Plus this house remodel project. Sheesh. I guess I’ll get all the rest I need when I’m dead, lol.

Can’t wait for this trip. There’s nothing like it
