I don't think you'll need it. About the longest between stations for either day is 95 miles.

Yes, but only if you have room and won’t look like the Clampets! We have a Strat rider coming and that’s like having a sportster.

    • Gas container should be easy, hell last year I carried a spare battery for 700 miles!

    • I’m all packed and ready to ride Monday AM to McCall, ID for two days on the lake. Just have to get fuel. The house is clean, laundry is done, trash taken out, etc. See y’all on Thursday.

Don’t forget a spare regulator, stater, clutch cable, brake line, headlight bulb, drive belt, battery, relay, quart of oil, 1/5 of drink and maybe even a spare tire that will fit either wheel!

You and Steve (Shores) be thinking of me, when you ride through the small town of Riggins, on the Salmon River, that was home to me, the first 19 years of my life.

      • Would love to Duke, but I'm in the process of selling my mom's house, and don't have the spare time. I know that area well, I was raised not far from there, you all will enjoy the ride, and the views!

      • I had a little bit of rain on the west side of the Cascades, just enough to make my bike dirty and force me to put on my rain gear. As soon as I put my rain gear in on the rain stopped. Beautiful sunny day all the way to Pullman Washington. Will be boating and jet skiing on payette lake in McCall Idaho tomorrow. See you later suckas!

      • Did y'all get this email from the motel? What say you?

Our steak dinner is $18.00 (16.98 + tax). It includes a baked potato, a green salad, and a (roughly) 16 oz New York steak. We spice the steak and place it on a grill for you to cook to your liking. Our steak dinner is large enough that two people will often split one or split one dinner with an extra salad (3.50 + tax) and/or potato (3.50 + tax).

For a group, we ask for a heads up of at least 90 minutes to cut the steaks and bake the potatoes. Our normal serving hours are Mon-Fri from 5pm to 8pm. We are occasionally able to accommodate steak dinners on Sunday nights.

        Thanks.

I talked to him on the phone about it and thought it sounded like a good deal. Figured if they only needed a 90 minute heads up we could discuss it with the group and place the order in the morning before leaving and it would be there when we came back.

Wow! What an interesting place.Population 410 but it sure looks like a lot more. Beautiful place but must have been strange growing up there. Nothing but Salmon River rafting tourism businesses. Tell us about it. What did you do for fun?

LOL, play in the river during the summer, my dad was a logger there. About all there was to do, was get in trouble, or climb the mountains, when you are in the town, every mountain top you can see, I have been on top of it, including the one's on the other side of the river. Did a lot of fishing and hunting there to. And yes, run from the cops on my dirt bike...LOL

      • Made it to Rapid City. Rode through some nasty rain. Everything will be dry by morning. Trying for Missoula tomorrow.

The rafting started after the saw mill burnt to the ground in 82', before that, it was all logging, saw mill, and ranching that kept the town alive, when I was there, the population was 533. As for running from the police, there were a lot of little trails, and hiding place's, I knew that town like the back of my hand.
